Super Hi-Vision

Ultra High Definition (UHD), Ultra High Definition Video (UHDV), Ultra High Definition Television (UHDTV), Extreme Definition Video and 8K is an experimental digital video format, currently proposed by NHK of Japan and British Sky Broadcasting. Ultra Definition Television (UDTV), also referred to as Quad HD, is not UHDTV and represents an intermediate format mid-way between the HDTV and UHDTV.
